Ambassador
Cedric Lluc Milles began sport climbing in 2012, going on to compete in both boulder and lead competitions, nationally and internationally.
In 2018, Cedric secured 3rd place in the European Youth Boulder Championship and 9th place in the World Youth Lead Championship. This showcased his dedication and skill on an international stage.
He has been crowned Champion of Germany in various youth lead and boulder competitions, as well as Champion of Spain in several youth lead and boulder competitions.
Cedric has also excelled in adult categories, earning second place in the Spanish National Lead Championship and third place in the Spanish National Boulder Championship.
One of the most significant changes in his journey has been the decision to represent Spain on an international level after a change of nationality.
“This transition was driven by my deep connection to the climbing community in Spain and my desire to contribute to its growth and success on the world stage.”
In addition to his climbing career, Cedric is also a psychology student, currently entering his fourth year of study, and will be earning his degree next year.
“I feel that my academic pursuits in psychology complement my athletic endeavors, providing me with valuable insights into mental resilience, focus, and performance, which are crucial in competitive climbing.”
“Throughout my career, I have been inspired by many incredible climbers who have pushed the boundaries of what is possible in this sport. Their dedication, creativity, and fearlessness motivate me to keep pushing my limits and exploring new challenges. One such inspiration is Chris Sharma, whose versatility and achievements across different climbing disciplines have set a benchmark for excellence.
A fun fact about me is that I have a unique pre-competition ritual that involves listening to classical music. This helps me stay calm and focused, allowing me to perform at my best. Outside of climbing, I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, and exploring new places, which fuels my passion for adventure and discovery.
I describe myself as a disciplined, resilient, and motivated athlete. Climbing has taught me the importance of perseverance, mental strength, and setting ambitious goals. As I continue my journey, I am committed to pushing my boundaries, improving my skills, and representing Spain with pride on the international stage.”
