Seated Shoulder Rotations - Strength
14 min
Load score 6

Perform seated shoulder rotations within a strength stimulus.
Intent: Develop pulling strength in your rotator cuff and shoulder stabilisers, improving your ability to pull through and control climbing movements.
Exercises

Shoulder Rotations - Seated
Sit with one elbow resting on your raised knee, holding a light dumbbell vertically. Rotate your forearm from vertical toward the floor (internal rotation) and back up again (external rotation) in a controlled arc. This isolates the rotator cuff muscles that are critical for shoulder health in climbers.
