Ambassador

Anni Neff joined the Lattice team in 2025 as an ambassador, and is currently training on a Climbing Training Plan, written by coach Rhoslyn Frugtniet.

Anni is a German climber now based in Innsbruck, Austria. Anni first touched rock in the Frankenjura at 21, and while it started as a spark, climbing quickly became the centre of life after moving to the Alps a few years later.

For Anni, climbing is not just about movement, it is about sharing days with people who understand the obsession, and finding freedom outside in nature, surrounded by mountains. Most training happens indoors, but any chance to get on rock is taken.

The Zillertal, and especially the Ginzling area, has become a favourite place, with Ginzling Extrem as one of the biggest long term goals. The journey has not been without setbacks. Injuries have tested consistency, but with the support of Lattice Training, Anni is focused on coming back stronger, healthier, and more confident.

Fear of falling still plays a part, and that is exactly what makes the process meaningful. That tension between fear and challenge is where motivation lives, whether it is bouldering in Austria, sport climbing trips to Céüse, or deep water soloing on the coast of Mallorca.
