Kimborey Lam joined the Lattice team in 2025 as an ambassador, and is currently training on a Climbing Training Plan, written by coach Aiden Dunne.

Kim is a London based boulderer who first stepped onto a climbing wall seven years ago, and only took that stoke outdoors in the last year. A late starting climber with a big appetite for learning, Kim is all in on the process, showing what consistent training can look like when climbing has to fit around real life.

Away from the wall, Kim works in a numbers driven career, but the creative side is always switched on. With a camera usually close by, Kim enjoys capturing the moments that make climbing special, the wins, the laughs, and the stories that help other climbers feel part of it.

Climbing is the main focus, with a few side passions too, including surfing, wakeboarding, running, and lifting. Alongside a full time job and raising two young children, Kim represents the committed hobbyist, someone who is not chasing climbing as a full time job, but still cares deeply about improving.

Kim is also passionate about how climbing can support neurodivergent people, and aims to raise awareness around autism in the climbing and outdoor space, helping make the community more open and welcoming.

This year, Kim is working towards a first indoor V8, and a shortlist of outdoor projects. Many sessions are shared with Kim’s biggest fan, three year old daughter Lana, who joins in on plenty of climbing adventures.
