Welcome to Lattice’s privacy notice relating to our Performance Coaching Plan  Survey.

This privacy notice provides information on how we, Lattice Training Limited (“Lattice”), collect and process your data if you decide to go ahead and complete our survey.

It is important that you read this privacy notice together with our website privacy policy which contains more detailed information about our data processing and can be accessed here.

Important Information and who we are

Lattice is the controller and responsible for your personal data.

We have appointed a data protection officer (DPO). If you have any questions about this privacy notice or our data protection practices please contact the DPO whose details can be found in our website privacy policy which can be accessed here.

The data we collect about you

For the purposes of our survey, we will collect, use, store and transfer personal data about you. We will ask you for data such as your age, gender, country of residence and climbing ability and you will be given the option to provide additional free text in response to some questions to explain anything you feel relevant or important in more detail. The data we request is provided on an anonymous basis (for example we will not ask for your name, address and contact details) but because there is a low risk that members of our staff processing the data might be able to work out your identity from the responses you provide, out of an abundance of caution we are treating it as personal data, and in some instances as special category personal data.

We will not store this personal data without your explicit permission. It is only when you give us explicit consent by agreeing to complete the survey and submitting your responses that we store your personal data.

The legal bases we rely on for the processing of any personal data are your consent and our legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(a)&(f) of the European General Data Protection Regulation or the UK General Data Protection Regulation (as applicable) and in relation to special category data, your explicit consent pursuant to Article 9(2)(a) of the European General Data Protection Regulation or the UK General Data Protection Regulation (as applicable). Further information regarding our approach to processing special category data at Lattice can be found here.

We will use a Google form to collect this data and your responses will be stored securely.

How we use your personal data

We will only use your personal data for the purpose for which we collected it, which includes the following:

  • To identify any trends, and common issues and to understand the breadth of different experiences of users of our services.
  • To act as a springboard to help us better understand how our services are received and how we can improve them.
  • To create marketing materials using aggregated data only regarding our services. For example, we may publish a statement on our website which states that x% of our Performance Coaching Plan users would recommend the service to a friend.

How we share your personal data

We will only share your full individual survey responses with employees of Lattice.

Your individual responses and any long-answer text will not be included in any marketing materials. By completing the form, you give us permission to process your responses and share them as part of an aggregated data set across our marketing channels. This includes our website, newsletter, product brochures or social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok).

Other than as set out above in relation to aggregated data, your survey responses will not be shared with any external third party other than IT service providers acting as processors who provide servers and platforms which enable us to store and process your survey responses. For further information on this, please see our website privacy policy here.

International transfers

We may transfer, store and process your personal data outside the UK. More detail can be found in our website privacy policy here.

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data including the right to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk).
