“Wonderful training device – improvement has come quickly and I definitely notice it on the wall.” — Jim Hooper

Why Train with the Quad Block?

  • Four-in-One Versatility: Features four distinct pinch sizes ‒ Deep Wide, Shallow Wide, Deep Narrow, and Shallow Narrow ‒ to prepare you for any hold on the wall.
  • Foundational Strength: Includes a 30mm (1.2in) lifting edge, perfect for warming up or performing pick-ups.
  • Consistency is Key: Unlike wood, which changes with humidity, our anodized aluminum provides a more stable, repeatable surface friction. Your gains will reflect true finger strength, not just ‘good skin’ days.
  • Repeatability: Includes mechanical depth stoppers to ensure your finger placement is identical every single session.
  • Skin-Friendly & Easy Care: Gentler than wood, the aluminum finish saves your skin for the project. It won’t absorb chalk — just wipe it clean, and you’re ready for the next set or session.

I bought MX edge, Quad Block, Heavy Roller and additional tools like fractional weights ,pin and pin grip. Despite high prize I am satisfied, items are solid and works well.

  2. Jill

Bought the new quad block and really like it. Had the wooden one previously and I felt that was too wide a pinch for my hands. Think this is a much better width and also seems to be better in varying temperatures (the wooden one wasn’t as good when it was very hot). Love the fact that you have got various width of grip training as well.

  3. DC

I’ve been wanting something to train my pinch grip for years and the quad block does everything I need it to. Super sweet set up with 4 different widths and depths which I like as my training workouts can then be longer and more varied. I’d say that the grips are quite different when it comes to difficulty so you can build up your lifts over time. My go-to is wide and deep for building the pounds up. So far the durability has been excellent and has travelled to the gym, cliffs and hung around at home. Thanks to Lattice for making another great product!

  4. Chase Utigard

I like my block but the steel or whatever seems cheap as hell drop it once and it dent.. way over priced for how flimsy it is. you can but much better blocks from companies like rogue or other grip strip companies.

      Dear Chase,
Thank you for your feedback regarding the Quad Block. We’re glad to hear that you like it, and we appreciate your honesty about your concerns.
We chose aluminium for our Quad Blocks to achieve the unique and complex geometry that provides four ergonomic grip sizes, essential for effective grip strength training. While stainless steel is an alternative, it would significantly limit our design capabilities and substantially increase the cost.
We understand your concerns about durability. Our aim is always to balance quality, functionality, and price.

Wonderful training device – improvement has come quickly and I definitely notice it on the wall. I’m doing a simple routine of 10 x 10s near max holds after handboarding, with the “wide and deep” option, on the minute, alternating hands, and delighted with the results. The width and depth options are just great; I’m sure I’ll eventually use them all.

  6. Jussi Taka (verified owner)

Really nice tool! Feels and looks really well made. Real eye-catcher. Only minus is the corners could be rounded/beweled; they’re not sharp so that you’ll cut yourself but I think it’d make the feeling of the product even nicer 🙂

  7. Andrew Stefanko (verified owner)

Really impressed with this tool! Would like to see the edge beveled where the rope runs through to extend life in future iterations, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this. Would also love to see a straight vertical quad block option eventually!

  8. James Dickinson

Really impressed with the quality and design. It is quite expensive but worth it because there’s so much to it, plus it comes with a training guide and all set up with hanging cord. Extremely comfortable to train with.
