Will Bosi repeats ‘Excalibur’ (9b+)

Lattice athlete, Will Bosi, has made history once again, claiming the first repeat of ‘Excalibur’ (9b+), one of the world’s hardest sport routes. Located in Arco, Italy, ‘Excalibur’ was first climbed in 2023 by Stefano Ghisolfi after extensive attempts from some of the world’s strongest climbers, including Adam Ondra.

The route sits on a seemingly blank 40-degree overhanging wall; it is brutally intense, featuring razor-sharp pockets, extreme tension moves, and no room for mistakes. Initially bolted by Cristian Dorigatti and Morris Fontanari, Stefano first started working the route upon Dorigatti and Fontanari’s invitation in 2021. Will started working the line in December 2022.
