Christian Sanchez is a climber living in Los Angeles, USA, where he works as a professional videographer and photographer. He began his climbing journey back in 2013 when one of his college professors took his class rock climbing in an area just outside of Yosemite. After top-roping on some slab, he was hooked!

“Since 2013, the climbing community has been my home. Through climbing, I have made life-long friends, seen some of the most beautiful places in the world, and even met my partner. I now spend every chance I get outdoors and bouldering with friends. Everyone that knows me, knows that I live and breathe climbing. I absolutely love it!”

“I have been lucky to travel to many of the worlds best crags, from Bishop to Font, and so many more. I hope to make it to every major crag at least once in my life. I like to film all of my climbing, as I hope to have one of the largest beta video catalogs on the internet! One of my climbing goals has always been to climb a V12 (8A+), and I think with enough effort, that is a real possibility!”

Christian was born and raised in Mexico and is a big IFSC fan, watching every World Cup. He is inspired by all the crushers out there who are ‘past their prime’, still pushing their limits and having fun on the wall.

Christian has a pug named Stout (after the beer!). She is 8 years young and the cutest thing in the universe.
