Lena Drapella is a UK-based climber and a commercial outdoor photographer, specialising in adventure sports and climbing events.

She is the first official female photographer working for the IFSC and covered the climbing events during the Paris Olympics 2024.

Lena’s climbing journey started in 2014, visiting a friend in North Wales… in February. Surprisingly, she fell in love with it and is now also based in North Wales, with its wonderful climbing and terrible weather.

When not working or climbing, she can usually be found skiing, sailing, or on another outdoor adventure. She is a passionate advocate for environmental progress from carbon offsetting to a circular economy.
