Job Title: App Developer – Full Time 37.5 hours (Part Time Negotiable)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Sheffield, UK.

Salary: Dependent on experience

What We’re Looking For: 

We are looking for an experienced app developer who is familiar with TypeScript, React Native and app development on iOS and Android.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience working with TypeScript and React Native;
  • Familiarity with git and version control;
  • Familiarity releasing apps via Google Play and iOS App Store;
  • A strong eye for design and feel for UX;
  • Experience working in a development team to build novel features and functionality;
  • A strong ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely;
  • A great eye for detail and ability to debug complex issues.

What you’ll be working on:

You’ll be responsible for the Lattice Training app, through which we deliver all our coaching and training services at Lattice. Our goal is to make the best climbing training app for climbers of all abilities. Your typical work will include:

  • Supporting our product manager by reviewing designs for new features and functionality to ensure a slick UI and UX for our users;
  • Working with the App team to help prioritise which features and functionality to work on;
  • Making decisions on architecture with the rest of the Dev team to keep the Lattice Training app stable and performant;
  • Building new features and functionality to bring the best training plan services to our users;
  • Debugging issues and perform fixes in a timely manner;
  • Releasing new versions of the app via Google Play and iOS App Store.
