This is brilliant. Thanks for doing this Tom. I have listened to you both for years and years, and still enjoy it.
I have many of the same issues, problems, thoughts and insights too.
I also have problems with power but I do do quality hard sessions to try and maintain, and improve actually, but it’s hard. However, I tested my fingers last week – open hand 156% – down from when we did the interview but I do believe I can improve; even at nearly 64! I will get round to getting a coach soon; promise.

Thanks for the episode: Eric Horst: Training For Aging Climbers. Started climbing when I was 59, 4 years ago. Now I am climbing occasionally 7a. Everage climbing 6c. Yes I complety agree with Eric his opinion when you are getting older. Follow his protocol and advice and you can still perform and gettting better when you are getting older. Take care of your own house, your body and mental condition, and you can progress in your level.
