Lattice Training Plans Compared: Which One Should You Choose?

Not sure which Lattice training plan suits you? We break down our LatticePlan, Climbing Training Plan, Climbing Training Plan+, and Flexibility Training Plan, including pricing, coaching support, and who each one's for.
REMEMBER: All our plans are 100% personalised
Before we get started, we think it's important to note that each and every one of our plans is 100% bespoke and customised for the individual climber.
For our coached plans, we start with a pre-plan form covering your goals, discipline, schedule, injuries, and equipment, plus an assessment to find your strengths and weaknesses. Your coach uses both to build a plan around you.
The Differences Between our Plans
Here we will outline the main features and differences between our LatticePlan, Climbing Training Plan, Climbing Training Plan+, and Flexibility Training Plan.
LatticePlan
£22.99/month, with a 14-day free trial
LatticePlan is our app-led training option. Rather than being written by a coach, your plan is algorithmically generated using the largest dataset of climber performance metrics in the world. Then the app adapts to your training, week on week, based on your performance and feedback.
It's ideal if you want a 100% personalised plan without the ongoing cost of 1:1 coaching, or if you're not quite ready to commit to a coached plan. It works well for any discipline and focuses on your overall performance.
No entry requirements, anyone can start.

£50/4 weeks, based on a one-off payment of £150 for a 12-week block
The Climbing Training Plan is fully personalised, built around the weaknesses identified in your remote assessment and the goals you share in your pre-plan form. It's also shaped around your time availability, equipment, and facilities, so the training you're given actually fits the life you're training around.
All plans are self-coached, meaning your coach will create a customised training plan which will be delivered through the Lattice app. You will then work through the plan yourself, using the app to view, log, and track your progress.
Once it's delivered, the plan itself can't be edited, so this suits climbers who are happy to follow a structured programme independently. It also works for any discipline.
Entry requirements: you'll need to be over 18, have climbed V4/6B boulder or 6b+/5.10+ sport in the last 12 months, and be able to hang your bodyweight on a 20mm rung for 10 seconds or more.
£115/4 weeks
With a Climbing Training Plan PLUS, you get everything in the Climbing Training Plan, plus ongoing support from your coach via in-app chat and unlimited plan edits. You can read more about our coaches credentials here.
This is ideal for those who want a custom plan plus the added support of a coach, someone to help with session questions, keep you accountable, adjust your plan as things change, and talk through any issues that pop up, whether that's a last-minute trip or an unexpected change to your lifestyle.

Hi, I would like to ask what are the more specific differences between bouldering training plan and fingerboard training plan? Does bouldering training plan also include elements of finger strength and campus? Thank you, Jakub Warszawski

Hi Jakub, yes our bouldering training plan includes finger training. We’d recommend the bouldering plan over the fingerboard plan if you are looking to do more bouldering specific training, whereas if you only wanted a fingerboard plan then go with that but the bouldering plan is broader and will be a more complete plan encompassing finger strength and campus training.
