Working with your coach
Chat and video calls, sending audio and video messages, response times, and coach cover or changes.
Your coach, chat and video calls
On Climbing Training Plan Plus and Flexibility Training Plan you get an ongoing relationship with your coach:
- In-app chat – your main line to your coach. Message them with questions, updates, how a session went, whatever's useful. You should expect a reply in 1–3 working days.
- A video consultation at the start – to get to know you and set your plan up properly.
Coaching is remote, so your contact is through the app and video, not in person. Read working with a remote Lattice coach for top tips on making the most out of that relationship.
Sending audio and video messages in chat
In Climbing Training Plan Plus and Flexibility Training Plan chat, you can send your coach more than text. Record a voice note to talk something through, or send a video clip of a move you're working on for feedback.
Your coach can send audio back to you the same way.
Response times, and making the most of your coach
Your coach typically replies within 1 to 3 working days. If it's been longer than that, don't worry – send them another message, or email contact@latticetraining.com if you can't reach them.
You're paying for expert access, so use it – there's no such thing as a silly question. Good things to bring your coach: your goals and how they are progressing, how your sessions are feeling, anything that's too hard or too easy, any niggles or injuries, changes to your schedule, and what you are and aren't enjoying.

If your coach is away, or you'd like a different coach
If your coach is on holiday, another coach covers for them, so you're never left without support.
And if the fit isn't quite right, you can ask to change coach – just email contact@latticetraining.com and we'll chat it through.
